Difference between MOPA laser marking machine and general laser marking machine

The difference between MOPA laser marking machine and general laser marking machine:

Generally, the laser marking machine is a bit deep in aluminum, which is nothing special. The laser marking effect has a lot to do with the laser marking machine. Conventional fiber is ordinary marking. Pulse width adjustable narrow pulse width high-frequency fiber MOPA laser marking machine or end pump can be black, just like the Ipad logo. Pulse width adjustable fiber laser marking machine has wider application range and more practical than ordinary fiber laser marking machine. Of course, the price will be a little more expensive, and everyone can choose according to their own products and processing requirements.

Compared with general laser marking machines, the outstanding features of MOPA marking machines are adjustable pulse width and large frequency range. Generally, the pulse width of laser marking machine is fixed, the range is about 80-120ns, and the frequency is 20KHz-80KHz. MOPA marking machine (take IPG's 20W YLPM as an example), the pulse width is adjustable from 2-200ns, and the frequency is 1.6KHz-1000KHz.

MOPA marking machine has many pulse widths and wide frequency range, so various parameters are combined, and various effects can be made, and there are many applicable materials and products.

MOPA laser marking machine can also be used to color, general laser marking machine can not be done. When the laser marks the stainless steel material, the color change of the surface layer of the material can be changed by adjusting the laser beam, thereby obtaining decorative effects with different colors. Its advantage is that its pulse width and frequency are independently adjustable. Adjusting one of them will not affect other laser parameters, and this characteristic brings unlimited possibilities to stainless steel color marking.
